As a cultural centre, the province of Catalonia is an excellent location for a language or art-based programme.
Gaudí’s works feature prominently – his partially completed cathedral, La Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, share the province with the Picasso Museum, Joan Miró Foundation, the Museum of Modern Art and Museum of Catalan Art. This is a rich and varied region of contrasting architecture, sporting stadia, Spanish Civil War sites and home to the Ebro Delta, a unique and diverse wetland habitat and area of outstanding natural beauty.
